“I make art because it is who I am as well as what I do. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life. My work is full of my past influences, personal history, and emotional interactions.” ~Addison Paige

Addison has her MFA with a concentration in print-making. She has worked in many mediums over the years, doing everything from prints, painting wood and plexiglass cuttings, to making clocks. She made her first wall quilt on July 4, 1998. She knew then that she had found a medium that energized her, as well as a way to use all the fabrics she had been collecting over the years. She has recently branched into wearable textiles, beautiful scarves that are more jewelry than clothing.

She doesn't work from patterns or sketches. She creates each piece while she is assembling it. This enables her to fully enjoy the process of creation.
